  Cheesecake shop carlton ordered a cake from new celebration range for a friends birthday and loved the freshness of the cake and all loved it

  The Cheesecake shop, Carlton NSW is the biggest disappointment.
  It was the worst experience ever! We ordered from different branches of The Cheesecake shop before and never had any problems. We were so happy to find Carlton branch as this is close to home.
  My daughter was dreaming about a unicorn cake for a year. We saw one that she really liked at Maroubra branch of The Cheesecake shop. However, it was out of our way and we decided to order from the Carlton branch. The person who took our order (the manager of the branch) reassured us that he can do the cake we were after. He asked me if I wanted to supply the unicorn horn and ears or offered to provide everything himself for extra $10. I paid extra $10. On the day of my daughter's party, I came to pick up the cake to see that the cake was not a unicorn! There were eyes drawn, as promised, but no horn or ears! There was a statute of unicorn on the top of the cake instead! When I asked them what happened, They told me that they actually couldn't do what I was after and did the bigger cake instead! I was very upset! How does the size of the cake can compensate the design?? I ordered the size big enough for the amount of guests we had, so the bigger size was no any better for us! I asked them why they didn't call me upfront to inform that they couldn't complete my order, so I had time to go somewhere else. They had nothing to say about that. All they were saying that they always do this and had no complaints so far! I couldn't believe that they lie to their customers, take money knowing that they won't be able to fulfil the order! They refused giving me a refund, all they were prepared to do was a $10 discount on another cake. What???
  PS. The cake wasn't of even size and looked as if it was about to fall down on one side.
  Never order from that store if you don't want to be disappointed right on the day of your event. Learn from my mistake :(
